The unique concept here is to raise the unit to keep ants from being drawn by the electrical current. Although it is hard to see in the photo, the entire inside of the housing is enclosed in screening to keep bees and lizards from entering in between the slates being used for ventilation.

To date, this unit with the sound kit is the quietest Vertex System we have installed.  With this housing, the unit is virtual silent 15 ft away.
